Endo Food Grade Balancer
General Description:
The Endo range of food grade balancers are designed to suspend tools and other loads, eliminating the need for the tool operator to support the weight of machinery while performing repetitive tasks.
This new addition to the well known range of Endo balancers has been developed especially for the food processing industry, offering increased resistance to harsh cleaning compounds and a high standard of hygiene.
Features:
Polished case
The familiar yellow paint is gone.
A new polished aluminium finish provides for an easy to clean surface, while eliminating the flaking paint which could often fall onto product.
Chromate treated suspension hook
The top suspension hook is treated with a chromate coating to eliminate corrosion.
A safety latch is fitted to prevent the hook from unintentionally disengaging from the hanging eye.
The hook swivels freely to allow the balancer to align to the load.
Stainless steel fastenings
All external fastenings are now stainless steel, eliminating corrosion.
Stainless steel rope and hook
The rope and load hook are now stainless steel, eliminating corrosion and providing an easy to clean surface.
A safety latch is fitted to prevent the load hook from unintentionally disengaging from the supported load.
Nylon cable guide
All EWF series balancers are fitted with a nylon cable guide which prevents fingers from being trapped in the cable slot.
This also prevents the cable from wearing against the balancer case.
Tapered cable drum
The cable drum is tapered to provide constant tension over the full travel of the cable.
Perceived weight of the suspended load remains constant regardless of position and cable extension.
Enclosed spring cartridge
The spiral spring is contained inside a steel enclosure for all models rated over 5kg.
A safety stop is also fitted to the spring cartridge case for all models rated over 5kg, locking the cable drum to safely prevent the suspended load from falling should the spring fail.
Models over 5kg also feature a manual lock to allow the changing of the suspended load safely.
USFDA approved lubricant
Food grade USFDA approved grease and lubricants are used throughout.
